Spooky Chemistry

At the Spooky Chemistry lab at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham I got to sit beside the spooky ghost and the mad scientist.

This looks spooky. I got to learn about glow in the dark stuff. Sometimes things glow after the light goes out. Other times, they go off when the lights go out.

I got to write in invisible paint. We used laundry stuff to make it invisible until we put it under the blue (black) light.

This is an ice cube in water. Can you see that it's kindof glowing?

I call this the soap pumpkin because he's got soap in him. We watched it explode. His nose was the funniest. It looked like it was bleeding.

I call this the pumpkin chemistry. Do you want to know why? Because in the background there are some little chemistry balls. They look like chemistry pumpkins.

They had a spooky Halloween village. I liked the train. Do you like the train? The train was cool. It went really really fast. It stopped at the torture chamber (orange skull mountain). Johnny kept turning on the buttons when the lights went out. Guess what my favorite thing was? The Scare Fair. It reminded me of the real fair. The lights were really neat.

This is really a cloud. It's really mist. Mist is a water cloud. A cloud is really, really wet. Mom kept blowing the cloud at us.

I was that Wilbur the pig died. We will miss him.

I had a wonderful time at the museum. I hope we go back soon. I hope they have a new Wilbur. Mom says we're going to try to go on the Santa Train. That sounds like fun.

Heroes and Villains

I went to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham to see Heroes and Villains on Saturday. Madi came with us. She liked Stormtroopers the best. We watched The Phantom Menace in the car. I like Anakin and watching him pod race. We got our picture taken with Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers. The one bike rider Stormtrooper gave us a card. That was neat. It showed his real face on there and what he looked like in the jungle.

R2D2 is my favorite droid. He can fly with a special gadget. He's got other tools too.

I like the Tie fighter pilot too. He's the one that drives Darth Vader's ships. He wears black instead of white like the storm troopers do.

Darth Vader is important. He is the main character. He had a red light saber. He is awesome. I like him.

Also, we went fossil pit to find some sharks teeth. I find lots of coral. That was cool.

We rode the train at 2PM. We went around 2 times. It was fun.

I got a Climbatron Robot at the gift shop. It can climb the window. He has suction cups on his feet.

Mom says we'll go back for the Halloween Spooktacular. I can't wait to write in the invisible ink.

Noah's Landing

I visited Noah's Landing with my Mom and Johnny yesterday. I saw the hedge hogs. I named one Jumpy and one Sonic. I touched Jumpy. He jumped up in the air. Sonic was a little shy. They felt prickly but it didn't hurt. I got to hold Jumpy. He jumped in my hand. It hurt a bit.

I got to touch an alligator. He had an extra pair of goggles behind his eyes to help him see in the water. I thought his throat looked like a bunch of tiles. He mouth looked like he didn't have a throat. Ms. Carie explaned that was to keep water out.

I saw the bench. It was cool. I liked the blue snake bench and the yellow snake bench. I took a picture with Johnny on the blue snake bench. Johnny did not want to go on the yellow snake bench.

I saw an orange kitty in the tortoises yard. He was really friendly, and he laid down beside me. I got to pet his tummy. He's a nice kitty.

I saw Wilbur the pig in the farmhouse. He was really friendly. He was Wilbur the pig. He kept touching my Mom's leg with his cold, wet nose. He was nice and silly.

I got to hold a chinchilla too. It was really soft.

I got to touch a opossum too. He was really gentle and soft.

I liked the farmyard house. There was a sloth in there too and a really tiny different opossum that I got to hold. It was a short-tailed opossum. I liked the short-tailed opossum.

I really liked Noah's Landing zoo. It was fun. I hope we can go there another time.

Peace at Last

Blazie locked us up in the crate. She had peace at last. She didn't have to worry because Mom was still there. Blazie got whatever she wanted after that. Then she she locked Mom in the crate. Not really. I got to hold a real milkbone in my mouth. Blazie forced me. Then she ate it. She said that was a really nice day. Peace at last.

I was in the crate because it was a silly photo. My Mom didn't really get locked in the crate. I just made a story about it because it seemed interesting. Mom said she wanted the photo for a contest. That's why she made me hold the milkbone in my mouth and wear the dog collar. At least I brushed my teeth after that.

Durham Bulls

Wool E. Bulls webpage

I got to go see a Durham Bulls game with Uncle Joe and Aunt Debbie. I've been there two times. I saw fireworks. My mom bought me a hat. I saw Sponge Bob. I saw Wool E. Bull. I saw a friendly blue monster with a big tummy. I hugged him. He feeled soft. He gave me a hug back. He's a really cute monster.

I got to help the YMCA with a special dance. Wool E. Bull was up there. All the kids were trying to catch his tail. It was funny. A little girl caught it and then she pulled Wool E. Bull almost off the stage. He snorted at her. It was silly. I flipped my new hat up in the air. I almost fell off the stage, but I got it.

We saw Patrick up on the big screen with his big belly too. He had big, big, big starfish pants.

We saw the Chick-fil-A cow. We saw Mrs. Cow and Baker Cow and Red Cow and the normal Chick-fil-A cow.

We saw Wool E. Bull on his gocart. Wool E. almost fell out of the cart but good thing there was a landing pad for him. He scraped off into the garage from his gocart. He thew balls at us, but I didn't catch one, though.

We won the whole entire game. It was 5-1 at the end. The Bulls got 5. They won. And, every time they said "Let's Go Bulls!" it was really fun. The Bulls kept on hitting the ball whenever we cheered.

I want to go again soon!

Arcade

I built my own little arcade last night. It was fun. My Mom loved shape signal and basketball hoops. She keeped on playing them until she got 1000 tickets. She wanted to play again and again. I said yes. Finally it was time to close down. I turned off all the games. I had fun on the bus. It was called Kidz Bop arcade and the bus was called Kidz Bop. It was really funny when Mom shot into the basketball hoop. She twirled two times and then she got it in the hole.

Candles

I took candle picture with Mom last night. We used mirrors too. I saw about 18 candles in the mirror, but there was only 1. We were in the bathroom and it was dark. Mom's camera was on the tripod and we had to be very still. That was no fun being still. I got to take a few pictures. Mostly I was looking under the door to see Johnny and Daddy's feet. I saw them under the door. Mom thought I should stay where the toilet was (out of the way and still).

My Trip to the Emergency Room

I was feeding ducks at Lake Wheeler. Suddenly I felt an ant bite. It was a fire ant all right. It really hurt. I started crying and coughing. My mom went to get some medicine for me. And she called the hospital.

I went to the hospital. I laid down in the waiting room chair. They finally called me back and I got to watch TV the whole rest of the day. I got to watch Sponge Bob Square Pants. I really like Sponge Bob.

They put a straw in my arm. It didn't hurt a bit. I watched TV while they were putting the medicine in me. The medicine made me feel better. Finally we got to go home, but I wanted to stay and watch more TV.

I got to wear a hospital shirt and a Spiderman sticker. I even got to eat an orange popsicle. Johnny got one too.

I missed my lunch, so I got to go to Chinese buffet.

I sure hope I don't get bit by anymore fire ants.

Ice Cream at Porter's

I love ice cream especially the lemon kind. I used to get cotton candy, but now I get lemon. Sometimes I get milkshakes, but this time I didn't. I got a cone. I like going to Porter's on Friday nights with my family.

I like their watermelons and especially the cake samples. We also buy corn and strawberries sometimes too. I really like to pick the good strawberries.

This fall I gonna go to their pumpkin patch. They have some super big pumpkins.

My Visit to the Museum of Life and Science

I went to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham with my Mom, Johnny, and Madi.

I was building a boat. I made it float for a while. It sunk with the screws. I added 1 screw. It was still floating. I added 2 and 3 and 4 and it was still floating. I added one more and it sunk. Madi's did pretty well. Hers stayed up for a long time until she added the 10th screw. Then it sunk too. Johnny's did pretty until he added the 2nd screw. His sunk too. None of us won. The engineering was fun. At the computers, I got to see what was inside. It was really cool. I touched a keyboard pad. I saw Johnny's DVD player after he opened it up. I saw mine. It was awesome. I saw the mother board. It was cool. I liked the mother board. I liked the robots also. I played with the spider. He was cute. I helped a man build a robot back. That was fun. I went to the computer games. It was fun too. But the Lego Mindstorms and the boat races were my favorite.

Jeremy is my friend. He goes to my school. He's in my classroom. He's in Mrs. Cherry's class with me. Me and Jeremy look at the missing piece book. It's my favorite book in the whole entire classroom. I like to have AR tests with Jeremy. I play with him on the playground sometimes unless I'm getting chased by Sydney. I was with my friend Madi at the museum and then I ran into him. He was with his family.

I found a big shark tooth. It was the first one I found. Mom was impressed. It was so awesome we keeped it. It was so awesome to look at at home. It's bigger than a quarter. It's bigger than a dime. It's bigger than my snowglobe. But that's not all. I found lots more too. I was collecting every shark tooth I could find. Digging for fossils is a lot of fun.

The bears were swimming today. The ranger throwed out food for the bears. The ranger told me Gus doesn't like to swim. But Mimi sure does! Gus went in the water one bit. He didn't like it. Gus is 3 (Mom says 4). The bears is bigger than me.

I also go to see Miss Piggy.

hi everybody

I snapped some pictures so fast that it was so fun that um I had um to have my own blog. And this is how ended up. I also took pictures of the mill and I was trying to get a picture of a skink but he was too fast. anytime I was trying to get him I didn't get him. But, I did get a good picture. Anyways, you can see some of these pictures have flowers in it. I'm a flower boy. And, some of you might want to look at my pictures sometimes.

Here they are.
